Why was the great wall of china built?

      The great wall of china was built to protect china from attcaks. The great wall of china was built because Xiongnu and Donghu tribes so they built really tall walls as a defense against them. Also they where affraid that they where where going to be attacked by their bording countries. also because alot of people wanted a hudge wall that was really high up.
