How long was the Great wall of china? And how long is it now?

The Great wall of china was origanlly 4,500 miles long from Gansu Provience in the west to the mouth of the Yalu River in Liaoing Provience in the east. It now is about 1,500 miles because of vandileism and it started falling apart. The people that broke the great wall of china either sold it or took it and kept it for their selves.
